Call me tight but I’m of the ideology that stocking fillers are extra treats that shouldn’t break the bank. So I’ve put together a little guide to some of my favourite stocking filler for 2018 costing less than £10.
…For the Make-Up and Cosmetics Lover
Real Techniques Mini Brush Trio £7.50
Ideal for putting in your handbag or luggage for quick and easy make-up top ups on the go, this little kit has the key brushes for any basic make-up bag. For nearer the £5 mark you can get a variety of individual miniature brushes to stuff in those stockings. So if you know someone who could benefit from having mini brushes instead of carting around their full size every time they take their make-up bag out these are perfect!
Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm £8
It’s no wonder this is a Birchbox Beauty Awards Winner – the lightweight, soft and nourishing balm is perfect for the cold weather (and all year round, really) to tackle those dry lips winter can curse you with. I’ve been using this lip balm for a few years now and I swear by it! With several neutral shades to choose from it’s perfect for giving that bit of colour to your face if your just keeping it natural but need to soften those lips. If you sign up to their email you can also get 10% off your next order!
The Body Shop Hand Cleanse Gel £2.50
I know, what on Earth am I doing suggesting something like this? Well, regular sanitiser I wouldn’t dare insult you with as a stocking filler suggestion, but this Body Shop Hand Cleanse Gel and the scents they have are amazing! My current scent is Mango and it’s such a light, fruity aroma it gets used more than a chemical smelling standard gel would. At £2.50 they are ideal for dropping in a bag or pocket when you pop out for the day to try and keep those nasty winter germs at bay! If you pop in-store they typically have them on a multi-buy offer, so even better if you’re buying for a few people or just want one for yourself too.

Mini Notebook Trio B&M £1.29
We all know someone who is always writing something down! Whether it be appointments, lists, ideas, stories, sketches, they’re always scribbling something down. So, surely they can never have to many notebooks? Mini notebooks are ideal for popping in your coat pocket or bag for that “A-HA!” moment in the middle of the street. They don’t need to be fancy – but it’s fine if they are, whatever your style – but for £1.29 you can’t complain at the bright, happy, colourful design of these notebooks. With lined pages and perfect palm size they’re a scribbler’s on-the-go best friend.
